Give to help support men and women on the street as well as people in need, by offering them non-perishable food and clothing on a regular basis. The organization’s meeting point: Parc Émilie-Gamelin, in Montreal. “People know it and are waiting for us,” says the president of Donner pour aider, Doulien Tumba Wetshonga. Annual events for people experiencing homelessness are added to the offer.

Donner pour aider is above all composed of committed volunteers. By donating their time, our volunteers get a lot in return. Some are filled with joy and peace. Most of them feel a sense of accomplishment, while putting an end to preconceived notions about homeless people. “Every person on the street has a story. Every day is different. You must live the experience that we offer volunteers to find out”, explains Doulien.
